I was hit in October and have stopped commuting as a result. Inattentive driver. I was lucky as it was a sideswipe and I did not go under the vehicle. I've come to the conclusion, for me anyway, the risk is not worth the reward. I miss commuting, but I'll do my riding on bicycle trails and perhaps some group rides. I'm 58 and recovery has been slow.

I too own an e-bike, and pretty much like you I think the e-bike has changed the way I ride - it certainly has encouraged me a to head out on it a lot more. And I, too, will be taking part in the challenge, riding on my e-bike... Good luck!
