Email/Intranet/Newsletter Content Considerations:

Hi, Team!

Santa Cruz County Biketober officially starts October 1st and goes for the whole month of October. We broke records for May Bike Month with participation, can we go even further for Biketober? We have the opportunity to support and sustain thousands of riders across the county.

Whether you are new to biking or ride every day, there is some fun in here for everyone. Get some fresh air, connect with your family, get your heart pumping, or simply get from point a to b with no emissions. Some of us are commuting to work, others are still working from home, so get out for whatever ride feels good to you and help Santa Cruz County mobilize thousands of community members to get out on two wheels this October.

Ecology Action has the Biketober Challenge running the whole month of October with awesome prizes to local bike shops, a $1000 individual prize, and a special $1500 grand prize for a local employer (like us!) They also have some awesome workshops and group rides happening throughout October. Check it all out and register here ecoact.org/biketober

Happy pedaling,
