NWA has boundless opportunities to get outside and explore, especially by bike. Whether one prefers mountain biking, soft surface, long distance, casual commutes, or a little bit of everything, there’s plenty to explore. Each community in NWA offers its own aesthetic and warrants individual excursions. Utilize the 36+ miles of the Razorback Greenway, rent bikes from city parks and local businesses or bring your favorite bike and gear along. There’s something for everyone.Â
There are numerous opportunities to ride around Northwest Arkansas, with a variety of trails to fit every rider style and ability.Â
Check out NWA Trails, OZ Trails, Explore Northwest Arkansas, the Razorback Greenway, and Arkansas State Parks for ideas.Â
During the bike challenge, you can ride anywhere, with anyone, at any time and be a part of the challenge. We recognize that for new riders (or new to the area), the bike world can be overwhelming and it’s hard to tap into the who, what, where, and when! We’re sharing the calendar for upcoming group rides, events, races, and more to get folks connected in the biking community. Northwest Arkansas is one of the best places to ride and we want to share it!Â
Each week we’ll share upcoming group rides, clinics, workshops and more on Trailblazers social media channels or you can look at the static calendar.Â

The Razorback Greenway is the heart of our protected paved bike path system in Northwest Arkansas. It starts in Bella Vista in the North, passing through Bentonville and Springdale, eventually ending in Fayetteville for a total of 36+ miles. Pick a spot along the greenway, hop on your bike, and start riding.Â

Trailblazers is our local bike advocacy group and the lead organizer for NWA’s May Bike Month Challenge. They are a great resource, providing info and support for all forms of cycling in Northwest Arkansas.Â
