The Devon Summer Tour
The Tour of Britain is coming back to Devon on Monday 3 September, with an exciting stage of racing from Cranbrook to Barnstaple. Professional teams of six riders will race over eight days for the general classification, points, sprints and King of the Mountains jerseys and for the best team.
To get you and the rest of the county warmed up for the big day - and to get more people on bikes across Devon - Love to Ride Devon are running the Devon Summer Tour between July 16th and August 12th.
You're invited to form a social team of six riders – just like in the Tour of Britain. You and your team will earn points by riding (any ride over 10min) and.
in your team will receive double day and miles points! So why not buddy up and support people who would like to give cycling a go or who are less confident on two wheels?
- There will be spot prizes throughout the month
- The winning team will be invited to enjoy Devon stage as a VIP guests at either the start or the finish!
- The Top Encourager of New Riders will win a ride in one of the Tour of Britain advance convoy vehicles!

This year we're very excited to be going global with our flagship workplace cycle challenge. Organisations from around the world (with national and local leaderboards too, of course) will compete to see which can get the most staff to try riding a bike.
The organisations with the highest percentage of staff riding in September in their size category will win, plus there will be amazing prizes for individuals and encouragers
