RIDING SAFELY
Riding a bike is a great way to get outside, improve your health, and de-stress, especially with the ongoing pandemic. To ensure a safe ride we recommend following these tips:
- Riding alone is still the best way to reduce your risk and keep others safe. The best plan for riding right now is to go out, ride solo or with a small group of trusted people, enjoy the outdoors in open areas, and try timing your rides for when you know your route will be less crowded.
- If you’re feeling unwell, stay at home, even if you’re only feeling a little unwell. Some people who’ve had Coronavirus reported that they had very mild symptoms.
-
CDC guidelines recommend “people wear masks in public settings and when around people who don’t live in your household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.”
- Check out bicycling.com's FAQ about riding in coronavirus times.
