Biketober is a fun, free, and friendly biking challenge for all riders in the metro Atlanta area. You can ride anywhere, anytime in October to participate. It’s for you, your friends, family, and co-workers.

Every time you go for a bike ride, simply log it with Love to Ride in one of three ways:Â

Each time you log a bike ride or encourage someone in October*, you earn points, and points mean prize drawing entries!
We also have special weekly drawings for new riders, and cash prizes for encouragers!
You can win an e-bike from Edison worth over $2,300 or one of many other prizes by taking part.
*Riders can name their encourager on their Love to Ride profile. Or, you can invite people to the challenge using the unique link from your profile (go to 'Invite friends - Copy link'). If someone clicks your link and takes part in Biketober, you'll automatically gain your encourager status!

Whether you are continuing to ride or you are carpooling, vanpooling, riding transit or teleworking, logging commute alternatives is easier than ever with the Georgia Commute Options GA Commute app. So sit back and enjoy your ride. Then, log your commutes and start earning points to use towards thousands of prizes.
Sync the GA Commute App to your Love to Ride profile so your bike rides work double duty. Every ride you log will earn you chances to win prizes in Biketober and future Love to Ride challenges, and will also earn rewards on the GA Commuter App.

Biketober is also a workplace challenge! This means that you and your co-workers can ride together to compete against other workplaces of a similar size.
All your riding and encouraging points will contribute to your workplace’s total and the workplaces with the most points will be victorious! You can join or register your workplace by clicking here.Â

Don’t work? No worries! You can still take part in Biketober as an individual and will be eligible for prize drawings.
You can choose to take part by joining a workplace AND a social team, or just one or the other.
You can ride in a social team of up to 10 people, including friends, family or coworkers.
Social teams will compete across 3 different leaderboards so you can focus on what inspires you most to take part in the challenge. There are leaderboards ranked by:
Team leaderboards can be filtered by region (e.g., Midtown) and by team type (e.g., cycling group, group of friends, etc.)
