Warwickshire County Council's Active Travel Roadshow is on the move in 2025! The team will be travelling up and down the County offering a number of free services that aim to start or increase the number of trips you make by riding, walking and wheeling.
Check out the calendar below to see some of our upcoming events in 2025!

As the nights draw in, our Active Travel Roadshow continues to roll out across the County. In a quieter October, the team visited the first Repair Cafe at Saints in Nuneaton! Attendees were challenged to plot their route to school in order to win an active travel goodie!
A whole team effort was required in September! The Active Travel Roadshow rolled out to some of the more high profile events in this years calendar. Warwickshire hosted stage four of the Lloyds Tour of Britain and the Active Travel team were on hand at the finish at Burton Dassett hills to offer free bike health checks and pedal-powered smoothies to all.
Additionally, the team were at Ricardo MTC, The Royal Shakespeare Company and Leamington's Food Festival this month!
...and breathe

As the summer draws to a close, the Active Travel Roadshow continued rolling across the county. Hitting up amazing community events such as the Nuneaton and Bedworth Big Bicycle Bash and our Men's Tour of Britain showcase in Atherstone. Whilst also heading to the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford to kick-off our Workplace Active Travel Programme with the RSC.
What a July! The Active Travel Roadshow rolled out 12 times across the month, heading to workplaces such as JLR (DC7) and Warwick Hospital, and rocking up at amazing community events such as Lillington Community Fun Day, the Sydni Centre Community BBQ and Leamington Rail Station's Railway200 events.

In a busy June, the Active Travel Roadshow made it's way to The Atherstone Big Weekender, JLR's World Bike Day event, The Rugby Fun Day at the GEC Rec, and finally at the awesome Napton Cycle Ride.
A sunny start to May saw the Active Travel Roadshow head to Stratford. The roadshow brought out their new event cycle parking stand that quickly got filled by those who cycle to parkrun!

Moving into April, the Roadshow headed up to the north of the county to the Water Orton Village Gathering. Free pedal-powered fruit smoothies were on offer to all!
A frosty start to March saw the Active Travel Roadshow head to Warwick. Despite the cold snap, lots of people were keen to chat walking, wheeling and cycling with the team. This event also served as an opportunity to promote Ride, Walk, Wheel Week!

We offered some amazing Active Travel goodies along with help, guidance and other activities whilst at our JLR residency.

We kicked off February at a marvellously muddy Leamington parkrun. The team were on-hand to chat all things walking, wheeling and cycling. Thanks to the new cycle parking that has been installed next to the pavilion, lots of parkrunners could cycle to the event and get their bikes health checked for free!
