Transitioning from organizing events for a large county to a smaller town like Ithaca definitely presents its own unique opportunities and challenges, but it sounds like you're making great strides in bringing the community together around biking. Creating a sense of camaraderie among local cyclists and promoting bike safety and awareness are essential steps towards fostering a thriving biking culture in Ithaca. Offering free bike repairs and prizes for visiting multiple pit stops adds a fun and engaging element to the event, encouraging participation and reinforcing positive biking habits.
