The Cycling Gardeners of Edinburgh are reinventing the way that gardeners operate in Scotland’s capital city. They’ve done away with their petrol-powered tools and transport, and instead embraced the potential of electric power tools and cargo bikes. Proud to call themselves Edinburgh’s first fully electric-powered gardening company, check them out here.
In late 2023, we asked if colleagues would like to try out cargo bikes for work. The first to try them in January were ten Forest Kindergarten teachers and support staff, who undertook training with Cargo Bike Movement. The photo from our training session speaks for itself!
From mid-January, Cammo Forest Kindergarten have loaned a cargo bike from Cargo Bike Movement and are using it for numerous daily movements of equipment and water. They are loving it! Could you or your team be the next to benefit from the use of a cargo bike? Check out our upcoming opportunities.
