This September, you, and riders all around the world, are taking part in the global bike challenge. Everyone can take part in Cycle September, however often you ride.

If you haven't been on a bike in years, it is the ideal opportunity to rediscover the joy of riding a bike. Already riding? Then together let’s get your friends, family and co-workers enjoying all the benefits of riding a bike.

With all of the smoke in Shasta County, is it safe to ride? 

It is important to look up air quality and determine if it is safe for you to be outside and engaging in physical activity. 

A few resources you can use to determine air quality in your area are:

AQI is the EPA's index for reporting air quality. Look at the color chart below to help you determine if it is healthy for you to ride outside. ~REmEmBeR~ Love to Ride allows you to log indoor rides. So if you have access to a stationary bike, try hopping on that and logging your minutes!
