Transitioning from organizing events for a large county to a smaller town like Ithaca definitely presents its own unique opportunities and challenges, but it sounds like you're making great strides in bringing the community together around biking. Creating a sense of camaraderie among local cyclists and promoting bike safety and awareness are essential steps towards fostering a thriving biking culture in Ithaca. Offering free bike repairs and prizes for visiting multiple pit stops adds a fun and engaging element to the event, encouraging participation and reinforcing positive biking habits. Tabling locations across Cornell Campus, especially near popular spots like the Dairy Bar, are sure to attract attention and draw in participants from both the university and the broader community.
