This is really good, a lot of traffic could be cut from town and city centres if more people realised that "last few miles" commuting is really easy! There needs to be more done from councils to promote "last few miles" commuting. All "Park and Rides" should advertise it. However I think the bus companies probably stop it happening or have a conflict of interest, hence why you dont see it more. there is a whole secret world of people who do this, me included!.

Somehow having a toddler on the back gives a perfectly valid excuse to blast some tunes on the bike... From Disney bangers to fat freddys, bring on the day!

They don't really cycle there! I would also be afraid of getting caught up in one of those Texas thunderstorms! ;-) I often think about moving back to Texas from Calfornia, but I think a smaller town would work better for me at this point now!

Cycling Action Network are encouraging people to email Hon Chris Bishop (Chris.[address removed]) about the bikes on buses ban. There's been a trial of secure bike racks inside buses in Auckland which looks to have been successful and might be a good solution.
