Community Groups

New community cycling groups are being set up across Southampton to offer sustainable cycling opportunities. They allow local residents to take part in cycle based activities in a fun, friendly environment and are welcome environments for all, regardless of cycling experience. 

The groups are on the lookout for volunteers, particularly to lead rides or to help with cycle maintenance. In return for your time and support the club can provide you with free training. If you would be interested in volunteering or are part of a community group that would be interested in setting up a community cycling group, we would love to hear from you. • Monty’s Bike Hub - offers bike repair sessions, second hand bikes for sale or donation, bike rides on school holidays and help with teaching kids how to cycle.
  
  
• Southampton Cargo Bikes - a cycling group providing free bicycle rides in various locations around the city.
  
  
• Southampton Bike Park - a free to ride mountain bike jump park for all ages and abilities, located at Southampton's Outdoor Sports Centre
  

• Southampton Bike Kitchen - a DIY workshop where Southampton residents can learn the skills necessary to fix their own bikes.
