tim lisle Thanks for the comments Rob, I'll look out for the Raleigh piece on Antiques Roadshow. Funny how Ive been in Nottingham 30 years and only recently got into its history. A colleague at work's uncle used to work there in the 80's and 90's, so he may have assembled my bike!! Hope you had a good break - weather was certainly was.

Rob Wormald Back out into the Peaks, usual loop but went up beside the reservoirs as it seemed quiet for a summer Sunday. Much fresher than yesterday and got caught in a couple of showers (which were quite refreshing) without a waterproof. Nice to be back on local roads though not as pretty as Wasdale

Rob Wormald Dropped the motorhome off at the pound then rode home. Extremely hot and humid, though brief intense shower at the start meant I abandoned plans for a longer ride. It stayed dry in Sheffield though 🙄

Rob Wormald Inevitably it seems LTR once again not loading my ride😡. A double shopping trip today as I ran out of space in my panniers on the first trip. Back home now and restocking the larder. Extremely hot today, only very limited sunshine but air temperature of 29°C. Like riding with a hair dryer on, can’t believe the temperatures some of our transatlantic cousins are able to ride in🥵
