Today I took on a 70km cycle including Stanage Edge and Mam Tor headin up Winnats Pass. A beautiful ride with the toughest climb I've managed so far!

If you're interested, speak with a Ranger about joining the MVP, Mobile Volunteer Patrol. We do patrols around Shark Valley answering questions about the wildlife, ensuring people are safe and have enough water (really important in the summer obviously!) and that people are not bothering the animals. Yes, I've had to tell people to stop touching the alligators. It is a really fun thing to do, and a patrol usually takes about 2-3 hours, depending on the number of visitors and how inquisitive they are. It's also a great way to get in a few miles of safe paved road riding, without cars!
