Green Commute Initiative (GCI) is an award-winning Cycle to Work Scheme provider which pioneered the no limits, no fees model. GCI’s no limits model enabled more people to access to high quality bikes and ebikes through the scheme. Ebikes have become the ideal commuting tool taking away the strain of long or uphill rides, providing an energising way to commute.
The Cycle to Work Scheme is offered as a tax-free employee benefit accessed through the salary sacrifice mechanism. The amount you save depends on how much tax you pay. When you use GCI, you can expect to save between 28–47% as there are no fees to make a dent in your savings.
Employers will make monthly gross salary reductions to recover the cost of the bike. Reductions will be taken over an agreed period (3-60 months) making your next bike a manageable investment.
